Preparing for your visit
Your initial visit lasts approximately 1 1/2–2 hours, longer if needed. Please dress comfortably! Follow up care depends upon individual goals and results. We work together to ensure that your health care goals are met.
Contraindications to Treatment:
The treatment is not recommended during menses, where an IUD is present, immediately following abdominal surgery, or when an active infection is present in the pelvic region.
*Trish performs Maya Abdominal Massage on pregnant women beginning at 20 weeks. Pregnant women receive great relief from the common discomforts of pregnancy.
Pregnant women and Arvigo practitioners are reporting shorter labors as a result of the Arvigo Technique of Maya Abdominal Massage. Cesarean sections are often prevented as well.
